About The Position

Grand Canyon University is Arizona's premier private Christian university. The Colangelo College of Business offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach for our online campus. The course, Applied Econometrics, is an introduction to basic econometric methods including regression analysis, estimation, hypothesis-testing, and prediction modeling in the analysis of economic data. This course helps develop critical thinking and methodological skills necessary for economic analysis of data and evaluation of policies.

Requirements

  • Preferred: PhD in Economics or Doctorate in a related business discipline with 15 graduate credit hours in economics AND minimum 5 years of experience with econometrics
  • Minimum: Masters in Economics OR Masters degree with a minimum of 15 graduate credit hours in economics AND at least 5 years of experience with econometrics

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
  • Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
  • Respond to students' questions and emails within the established timeframes
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
