About The Position

CodaMetrix is revolutionizing Revenue Cycle Management with its AI-powered autonomous coding solution, a multi-specialty AI-platform that translates clinical information into accurate sets of medical codes. CodaMetrix’s autonomous coding drives efficiency under fee-for-service and value-based care models and supports improved patient care. We are passionate about getting physicians and healthcare providers away from the keyboard and back to clinical care. About the role This is a high-impact, high-expectations role designed as a direct pathway to a full-time position. You will work closely with a senior technical lead to build an explainability and observability layer for our LLM-driven automation systems, with a focus on sophisticated internal tooling that monitors data integrity and model behavior. Beyond internal systems supporting the reinforcement learning lifecycle, you will also contribute to customer-facing analytics that clearly communicate insights derived from the internal tools you helped build. This is not a training internship. We expect you to ramp quickly, take ownership, and deliver production-ready work with minimal hand-holding.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript
  • Comfort building data visualizations and interactive analytical tools (D3 strongly preferred)
  • Solid Python + SQL skills and the ability to work across the full data stack
  • Strong product and design intuition - you care deeply about clarity and explainability
  • Extremely high agency: you move fast, unblock yourself, and deliver
  • Kind, curious, creative, and respectful - you approach problems and people with empathy, intellectual humility, and a genuine desire to understand, while bringing original ideas and treating collaborators with care.

Responsibilities

  • Building interactive explainability tooling for LLM-based systems using React and D3.js
  • Developing and extending backend APIs in Python to support analytics and tooling
  • Writing efficient SQL and contributing to data workflows on Databricks
  • Translating model behavior, feedback-loop data, and quality signals into clear, actionable visualizations
  • Partnering closely with your mentor to design, implement, and ship features end-to-end
  • Iterating fast based on real stakeholder feedback from internal and customer-facing teams
