About The Position

The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University is seeking passionate adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at our Phoenix campus. Our faculty are dedicated to engaging and mentoring students, preparing them for the evolving fields of IT and Engineering. This role involves teaching courses such as Applied Circuits I, where instructors will introduce students to the fundamentals of electric circuits, including methods for analyzing DC networks, Kirchoff's laws, and PCB fabrication. Faculty members are expected to facilitate classroom discussions, assess student performance, and embody the values of the University.

Requirements

  • Preferred: Doctorate in Electrical Engineering OR related engineering discipline with circuits experience
  • Minimum: Master's in Electrical Engineering OR Master's in related engineering discipline with circuits experience

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
