Applied AI/ML Engineer
About The Position
We’re looking for an AI/ML Engineer with 5–8 years of experience building and owning production AI and ML systems used by real people. You’re comfortable working across, modern LLM agentic systems, traditional ML, and you’ve shipped systems with clear quality metrics and business impact. You have strong judgment around evaluation and know how to measure what actually matters when considering product priorities. Experience with large-scale retrieval, ranking, NLP, or personalization systems is a plus. Paraform is a marketplace modernizing one of the largest and most fragmented markets in the world: hiring. Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience building and owning production AI and ML systems used by real people.
- You’re comfortable working across, modern LLM agentic systems, traditional ML, and you’ve shipped systems with clear quality metrics and business impact.
- You have strong judgment around evaluation and know how to measure what actually matters when considering product priorities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with large-scale retrieval, ranking, NLP, or personalization systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI/ML systems that power matchmaking, ranking, and automation across the Paraform marketplace.
- Own model development end-to-end, from data collection and labeling strategies to deployment, monitoring, and iteration in production.
- Partner closely with product, AI engineers, and full-stack teams to ship systems that directly move marketplace metrics.
- Build and maintain robust evaluation frameworks to continuously measure quality, bias, reliability, and business impact.
- Set technical direction and best practices for AI/ML at Paraform.
- Mentor other engineers and raise the bar for how AI systems are designed, shipped, and maintained.
