About The Position

GR0 is hiring an Applied AI Engineering Intern to create disruptive new approaches to marketing across GEO, SEO, paid media, link building, and creative. This is not a pre-scoped internship — there is no "starter project" and no meetings to recap or spreadsheets to update. We are hiring someone who is obsessed with how AI is changing every facet of business, thrives on autonomy, and can walk in on day one, identify the highest-leverage bottleneck in modern marketing, and ship an AI-native system that changes how the work gets done. Someone to join our push to transform marketing forever.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a college or university.
  • Passionate about AI, machine learning, automation, or software development.
  • A self-starter who loves to tinker, build, and problem-solve — you define the problem, not just execute tasks.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in a fast-paced.
  • Able to collaborate across disciplines and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python, APIs, or AI tools is a plus — but hunger to learn matters most.
  • Marketing fluency is a bonus, but what really counts is your ability to translate capability into measurable outcomes and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and attack the highest-leverage AI opportunities across GR0's service lines — from GEO visibility and LLM-optimized link building strategies to AI-automated paid media workflows and creative output modeling.
  • Create agentic workflows that take research to launch to iteration, with evaluation guardrails and client-facing controls.
  • Build functional tools and prototypes using LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI GPT-o, Gemini) and agentic frameworks (LangChain).
  • Evaluate LLMs and help choose the right models for the right tasks — balancing cost, speed, and accuracy.
  • Get hands-on with RAG, web search integrations, and tool use (CRMs, calendars, and APIs).
  • Experiment with prompt frameworks and agent behaviors for real workflows like email generation, prospect research, and meeting scheduling.
  • Explore emerging modalities — voice AI, multi-modal reasoning, and what makes AI feel more human.
  • Design agent workflows that make smart decisions, self-optimize, and deliver real outcomes.
  • Build safety guardrails, fail-safes, and success metrics into AI systems.
  • Present ideas, experiments, and results to the broader team.
