Job Summary & Responsibilities The Applications Engineer Intern will support optical performance verification across multiple substrate formats, including wafers, film frames, and panels. This role provides hands-on experience working with advanced optical metrology systems and applying them to real customer use cases. The intern will learn how metrology performance is evaluated in production‑relevant conditions and how application‑level results correlate with overall system behavior. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
  • Interest in optics, metrology, semiconductor manufacturing, or advanced measurement systems.
  • Familiarity with basic laboratory practices or data collection methods (academic or lab experience acceptable).
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly in written and verbal form.
  • Willingness to learn in a hands-on, collaborative engineering environment.
