Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location. The role involves leading a level 2 team to provide critical IT support for a suite of applications under the Treasury & Trade solutions business wing to ensure production stability and proper functionality. The position requires technical oversight across systems and applications, leveraging skills across multiple apps support areas, and providing guidance on feedback reviews with development managers to ensure outstanding issues are tracked to closure. The analyst will execute controlled resolution of incidents and problems, including prioritization and escalation to relevant groups, and root cause analysis of problems with follow-through to resolution. The role also includes driving stability initiatives to enable application high availability for Business-As-Usual, which includes better monitoring, failover, and resiliency. Coordination with Operations, Product, Service Desk & Command Center members for escalation and management of production issues is essential. The analyst will design and execute mature monitoring models covering hardware, websphere, database, network, application flows, and architecture dashboards using Geneos ITRS, KIBANA, and App Dynamics. Additionally, the role involves developing solutions for an end-to-end observability framework for monitoring critical workflows across applications, handling new application development analysis, design, user acceptance, and performance test reviews alongside development and testing teams. The analyst will manage vendors from a production support perspective to ensure the production environment is stable and working properly, serve as a global point of contact for critical business/operation queries/issues in production applications, and coordinate with internal technology stakeholders for any technical issue analysis, escalation, and resolution in production. The role also includes contributing to new application development requirement analysis, design, and new processes from the production support side, designing automated solutions for global payment solutions and receivables applications, defining, recording, and executing application disaster recovery plans and procedures, and performing datacenter switches between production and continuity of business servers using network switches, DNS configuration, and IP assignation. The analyst will lead and coordinate critical strategic initiatives at enterprise, sector, and line of business levels to ensure stability and resiliency of the most critical applications, and update the status that is reportable to various Regulatory agencies around the world.
