Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Senior Manager for its Irving, Texas location. The role involves designing and developing solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. The candidate will perform systems management and integration functions, providing support for Treasury & Trade solutions Global Payments & Receivables suite of applications to ensure production stability and efficiency. Responsibilities include conducting feedback reviews, ensuring issues and long-term strategic fixes are tracked to closure, and performing controlled resolution of incidents and problems, prioritization, escalation, and root cause analysis with follow-through to resolution. The position also involves leading stability initiatives for application high availability, handling incidents, problems, and change at a global enterprise level, and delivering end-results. The candidate will assess customer requirements for operational procedures to achieve suitable outcomes for stakeholders and collaborate for escalation and management of production issues. Additionally, the role requires designing and executing mature monitoring models covering Hardware, Websphere, Database, Network, Application flows, and architecture dashboards using Geneos ITRS, Kibana, and App Dynamics. The candidate will execute Engineering & Tools Adoption work stream for Global Payments & Receivables suite of applications, develop solutions for end-to-end observability framework for monitoring workflows, and work with development and testing teams for new application development analysis, design, User Acceptance, and performance test reviews. Coordination with internal technology stakeholders for technical issue analysis, escalation, and resolution in production is also required. The candidate will be involved in production support for application development requirement analysis, design, and new processes, design automated solutions for global payment & receivables applications, and define, record, and execute application disaster recovery plans and procedures. The role includes performing Datacenter switches between Production and Continuity of Business servers using Network switches, DNS configuration, and IP assignation. The candidate will lead and coordinate strategic initiatives at Enterprise, sector, and LOB levels to ensure application stability and resiliency, updating status that is reportable to regulatory agencies. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
