About The Position

The primary job duty is to develop and sell BSS and OSS applications software/solutions to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers. Work is very complex, involving the application of advanced sales, technical and business skills in the BSS/OSS.

Requirements

  • 10 years of applicable sales experience.
  • Successful sales track record.
  • Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts.
  • Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors.
  • Experience working with C-level players.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects/customers.
  • Experience selling primarily BSS, OSS and Service Assurance solutions.
  • Experience working with Channel Partners, Resellers, carrier MSPs, and large network focused companies.
  • Demonstrable use-case based solution selling skills.
  • Ability to scale customer organization from technical operators to the C-Suite and lines of business.
  • Ability to identify, create and close new business in new accounts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with T-Mobile, Comcast, AT&T is strongly preferred.
  • Sales Professional ability to Hunt and Farm in existing accounts.
  • Capability of taking applications and building solutions for customers/prospects.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external resources for success.
  • Track record of growing revenue.
  • Ability to handle multiple accounts at once.

Responsibilities

  • Sell applications to the telecoms industry, focusing on the BSS, OSS and Services Assurance sector.
  • Sell products directly or via partners to a list of named accounts across the USA.
  • Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
