About The Position

The Applications Lab Tech will be primarily responsible for providing a variety of lab testing necessary to support development, product validation or optimize a Pressurized Valve, BOV, Accessory or Pump system for both new and existing products for both internal and external customers. The focus will be on internal customers with expansion of responsibilities to external customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for product development and applications testing which includes: gasket swell, spray rate, spray pattern, particle size analysis, weight loss, functional, compatibility and product validation testing across all product lines.
• Be able to work with test and filling equipment and to pressure fill Aerosol cans or BOV.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documents, complete Laboratory Work Request (LWR) documents, analyze, and interpret data to develop conclusions.
• Communicate technical information with customers, Engineers, and Sales, as well as write reports and correspond to customers.
• Must be able to monitor and prioritize multiple projects.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of SAP for spec BOMs.
• Provide basic level technical support for both internal and external customers.
• Participate in onsite customer visits for development projects.
• Foster the Aptar Core Values as a business practice throughout Aptar B+H North America.
