Responsibilities

  • Enhance and grow a world-class organization that includes technical support and customer success field applications engineers for Synopsys Emulation product line.
  • Develop and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with the sales organization to jointly grow the business by introducing new use cases to existing customers, acquiring new customers and taking market share from the competition.
  • Establish strong relationships with emulation architects and emulation leaders at key customers to build trust and to drive success by defining the solution to enable their success.
  • Work closely with the FAE and customer teams to understand the design and the customer project timeline to architect and implement the emulation solution.
  • Manage the customer engagements through Senior Managers and/or expert level individual contributors to deliver to the timelines and objectives as well as ensuring issues are escalated in a timely manner internally as well as with customer's management team.
  • Work closely with the Product Engineering, R&D and Interface Solutions teams to enable the Synopsys Emulation solution at the customer.
  • Provide technical and engineering insight and direction to support and improve usability, applicability and adoption of products, platforms and solutions to meet customer business needs based on feedback on product gaps and solutions performance from customers and other application partners.
  • Track Key Performance Metrics across the customer base and work with the appropriate PE/R&D teams to deliver on those metrics.
  • Advise senior management on operational matters to ensure achievement of organization objectives.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of EDA/semiconductor experience, BS degree; MS or MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor, FPGA and semiconductor design methodologies, and electronic hardware systems.
  • A strong background in HAV hardware solutions and use cases.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of initiative and responsiveness.
