About The Position
The Application Engineer is essential to the development and building of solutions and support for Renesas customers as key enabler of business expansion. This position focuses on device operation and software design. Working as a bridge between customers and engineering teams, Application Engineers use customer input and sales information to design or re-design, develop, test, and implement complex applications. The AE also provides technical support and expertise to customers, testing applications, responding to customer feedback, and performing demonstrations. It is important that the AE is fully capable to discuss requirements with Renesas customers, coordinate with internal Renesas developer teams, solve technical issues, and make suggestions for improving existing products. The Application Engineer is expected to have software expertise, leadership qualities, technical skills, time management skills, and have a customer service orientation.
