About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Applications Engineer to join our team and contribute to the accurate and effective application of the cutting-edge solutions at CV Technology. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for details, a hands-on problem-solving approach, and exceptional organizational skills. As an Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and utilization of our CV Technology products, acting as a bridge between our sales, engineering, and field service teams. CV Technology specializes in complete explosion and fire protection solutions for the prevention and mitigation of explosions and fire hazards that result from the manufacturing and handling of dry bulk materials. Over the past 25 years in the industry, we have become one of the world's leaders in developing superior fire and explosion protection solutions.

Requirements

This is a full-time position based in our Jupiter, FL office
10% Domestic Travel
Associate degree or higher in engineering or a related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong passion for details and exceptional attention to accuracy in all tasks.
Hands-on problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and find creative solutions.
Effective project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, technical support, or applications engineering is advantageous.
Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed design drawings.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The role may involve occasional travel to customer sites or other company locations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sales team to review and analyze customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and feasibility of proposed designs and solutions.
Serve as the main point of contact for customer interactions regarding technical inquiries, project updates, and issue resolutions related to CV technology applications.
Work closely with the engineering team to translate customer needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and product capabilities.
Act as a project manager, coordinating activities and timelines to ensure the accurate and timely execution of CV technology implementations.
Conduct thorough technical evaluations and assessments to identify potential challenges and opportunities, and develop solutions accordingly.
Review sales proposals for technical accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with product offerings.
Collaborate with field service teams to provide guidance and support during product installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, potential risks, and recommended actions to maintain project timelines and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our CV technology products, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Assist in the development of training materials and documentation to support internal teams and customers in effectively using our products.
