In your new role you will: Customer Collaboration: Support customers in designing USB Type-C and Power Delivery interfaces for their systems Firmware Development: Assist in developing and customizing firmware to meet specific customer requirements Hardware Integration: Participate in debugging and validating customer hardware against Infineon firmware Testing & Debugging: Perform hands-on testing and validation of Power Delivery controllers using lab equipment Documentation: Contribute to writing application notes and creating reference designs for USB Type-C solutions Customer Training: Assist in training customers and field engineers on Infineon USB Type-C and Power Delivery solutions Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you are/have: Education: Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with relevant coursework Programming Knowledge: Basic experience with firmware development in C and debugging tools Lab Skills: Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers Interfaces Knowledge: Understanding of serial interfaces like USB, I2C, UART, SPI; USB Type-C knowledge is a plus Power Management: Basic knowledge of power circuits like DC-DC converters or LDOs Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset Find out what we are looking for in your CV Find out how the student application process works with us Discover our student website
