About The Position

Biamp Applications Engineers assist customers with technical questions, product and design support, technical training, and occasional site visits. The position will require daily interaction with Biamp customers, consultants, and sales representatives dealing with a variety of complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Proficient in the use of Ease Focus 3 and EASE Address or similar acoustical modeling software
• Minimum 2 years’ experience providing pro audio technical support, system design and hands-on audio equipment set-up
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Solid knowledge of audio DSP and amplifier technology
• Strong system design, implementation, and troubleshooting skills
• Operational knowledge of measurement software such as SMAART, Systune, or similar is desirable
• A serious and enthusiastic desire to provide reliable customer service
• Windows computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office
• Able to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide amplifier and loudspeaker system support and troubleshooting over the phone, via email and via remote login
• Provide loudspeaker design suggestions using acoustical modeling software
• Coordinate returns of Biamp products as necessary
• Assist with product set-up and staging for demonstrations and trainings
• Accurately process and record all customer interactions using tech support case tracking software
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
