Application Engineer – Industrial Sensing / Machine Vision About the Job Headwall is seeking an Applications Engineer to work in our Industrial Sensing / Machine vision product line. Headwall is the leader in hyperspectral imaging used for chemical-spectral imaging across industrial and research applications. Requirements
- Technical degree (e.g. chemistry, engineering) with understanding of spectroscopy
- Analytical thinking, initiative, and a structured work approach.
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and willingness to travel
Nice To Haves
- Ideally, experience in customer support and/or sensor-based sorting-an advantage, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our sales and R&D teams to develop technical solutions enabling customers to successfully deploy our products.
- Commission our optical and inductive sensor systems-on-site or remotely.
- Develop sorting models and support customers during commissioning, feasibility studies, and training.
- Perform initial installations and provide after-sales support.
- Prepare measurement reports and customer documentation.
- Accompany our sales team to customer meetings, present our solutions clearly and convincingly, and answer technical questions.
