About The Position

We are currently seeking an Applications Engineer to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters located in St. Louis, MO. Job Summary The Applications Engineer - Electrical Motor Market is responsible for developing the technical expertise within the Electrical Motor Market and obtains an understanding of customer applications to assist customers with engineered solutions and to support the development of new products for the market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, required.
  • 0-3 years’ experience in a similar role (Product Application Support or Design roles will be considered)
  • Recent Engineering graduates will be considered
  • Ability to understand customer’s application requirements and translate that into understanding internal capability development.
  • Position is subject to meeting ITAR requirements
  • Travel: 25%

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for customer applications with an ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders in how our products and services can satisfy customer requirements.
  • Support new product development projects from research, through planning and implementation.
  • Develop marketing content (data sheets, white papers, technical bulletins, advertising materials, technical video, webinar, application engineering profile, etc.) to promote our technical expertise.
