About The Position

The Applications Engineer at DuPont Water Solutions will provide technical support for DesaliTec™ Closed Circuit Reverse Osmosis (CCRO) commercial demonstration assets throughout the piloting process. This role involves opportunity qualification, pilot planning, execution, and post-pilot analysis, ensuring effective collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1-5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in reverse osmosis design and troubleshooting.
• Experience in developing plans and schedules with defined milestones.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with water treatment technologies.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support opportunity qualification for pilot projects.
• Identify goals, scope, risks, and opportunities for pilots.
• Conduct site water quality analysis and process design.
• Prepare antiscalant chemical projections and CCRO projections using software tools.
• Develop pilot proposals and participate in project kick-off meetings.
• Prepare opportunity-specific pilot protocols and review protocols developed by clients.
• Order necessary materials and schedule services for pilot execution.
• Lead technical aspects during pilot start-up and commissioning.
• Serve as the main point of contact for process-related inquiries during pilot testing.
• Track pilot operation and performance, resolving issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Prepare interim performance reports and present findings in progress meetings.
• Compile a Final Pilot Study Report with formal data analysis post-pilot.
