  • Learn and become conversant on all equipment in the Cementing Technologies product line, including how to build, test, and how the equipment is run.
  • Provide technical support to senior applications engineers, sales and operations across Cementing Technologies product line, including computer simulations, design and job calculations, system layouts, procedures, etc.
  • Work with current and prospective sales representatives and customers to establish needs, specifications, and possible product modifications for future sales.
  • Review customer requirements, specifications and make recommendations for technical and commercial proposals.
  • Provide technical support and technical liaison with clients and Expro's North and Latin America operations and product development departments.
  • Advise sales personnel, customers, and potential customers on the technical issues that affect the application of related services and products.
  • Assist with preparation of documentation for and participate in meetings concerning turnover of a proposal to a project upon receipt of purchase order.
  • Inform customers of technological improvements and of the advantages to the customer of using the company's products.
  • Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist senior applications engineers and sales with customer complaints and issues.
  • Identify within Expro's Cementing technologies and Downhole Service tools portfolio, the products and services needed per operation/customer need.
  • Actively adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies.
  • Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering or similar study.
  • 3-5 years work experience within a technical or operational role preferably in well construction products and services in the Oil and Gas.
  • Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of computer aided engineering software (ex. Solidworks, Welplan, Hydraulics modeling or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio is a plus.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment screening results (ie background check, drug/alcohol test, etc.).
