About The Position

ITnova is seeking an Applications Development Expert, Microsoft Dynamics CRM with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM development and enterprise application integration. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution for Baltimore County Government, with a primary focus on supporting the Department of Economic and Workforce Development. This role plays a critical part in delivering a scalable, integrated CRM platform and in training County staff on the use and ongoing development of Microsoft Dynamics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a technical expert within an IT organization.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing solutions in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM development and customization.
  • Experience with JavaScript, C#, .NET, and web services.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 APIs and SDKs.
  • Experience with SQL, database management, and data migration techniques.
  • Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience delivering a Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution through the full development lifecycle (design through deployment).
  • Strong understanding of CRM data modeling, workflows, and user interface customization.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the design, architecture, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions.
  • Define logical, technical, and physical architecture for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform.
  • Design, develop, and deploy an enterprise CRM solution in Microsoft Dynamics, prioritizing the Department of Economic and Workforce Development.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration, configuration, customization, monitoring, and maintenance of the CRM solution.
  • Develop, implement, and conduct training for Baltimore County employees on Microsoft Dynamics development and usage.
  • Gather and document requirements from non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional design documents.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Support data migration to and from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
  • Prototype and demonstrate proposed solutions to end users.
  • Integrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM with third-party applications, databases, and external systems.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and end-user training.
  • Conduct quality assurance, testing, and validation to ensure solutions meet user needs.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, deployment, and rollout of new CRM features.
