About The Position

Application developer for Automation and Testing role in VS&Co IT Stores & Omni-Channel organization (supports Victoria's Secret, Pink, and other business areas as needed) is accountable for developing automated tests that support the digital platform during projects of varying size. These tests can support the VS&Co websites, mobile applications, and ancillary systems. Additionally, the role is a key contributor for recommendations and changes to the VSTAE framework and CICD pipeline that supports the business digital platform. Candidate will leverage experience and learn in coding practices and application development. The candidate will be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with the team, other IT teams, and the product owner they support. They should have a desire to learn about technology and the retail industry as a whole. Requirements

4-year degree in Information Systems or an equivalent combination of course work and job experience
3+ years' experience application development in Selenium and/or Cucumber
3+ years' experience of application development in Java or other Object-Oriented language
Ability to work in a very fast-paced, marketing-driven, multi-task environment
Awareness of emerging automation technologies, patterns, and consumer trends.
Understanding of Application Program Interface (API)
Understanding of multiple types of application constructs
Exposure to code management
Experience with Test driven development experience
Automated Functional Testing experience
API Testing understanding
Awareness of Performance Testing
Awareness of Continuous Integration tools
Experience working with Selium and Cucumber
Experience working with Java
Exposure to design patterns and reusable libraries
Understanding of Risk Based Testing (RBT) principles
Understanding of Quality Management practices
Experience with Agile, Test-Driven Development
Knowledge of testing approaches for APIs, mobile applications and web applications
Ability to write clean, maintainable code
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript a plus
Working knowledge of SCM with strong emphasis on Git and proper Git Flow
