About The Position
AZDHS is seeking an experienced Applications Developer / Data Scientist to support data processing, analytics, and automation initiatives within the Division for Planning and Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL Server development experience, Python-based data processing expertise, and hands-on cloud experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data processing / data analytics development
- Strong expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and SQL Server database development
- Proven experience building data processing and analytical tools using Python
- Experience with data formats: HL7, XML, JSON, CSV, EDI
- Hands-on experience with: Data modeling, data mapping, data transformation Process automation Data lifecycle management & data quality
- Experience working in cloud environments: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
Nice To Haves
- Experience with other RDBMS platforms
- UI development experience
- Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools
