About The Position

You will have a variety of responsibilities including: Technical sales support for all products including interfacing with operations, external sales force and customers Talking with customers and suppliers regarding their application and consulting with them on a custom solution Resolving questions from key customer decision makers, contract engineers and contractors Creating cost estimates for custom/modified products Working with Sales, Marketing and Product Development to meet launch dates and revenue targets. Research targeted accounts Maximize sales and demand creation Awareness of market activities including all potential competitors Arrange and conduct Lunch & Learn Seminars with existing and potential customers Generate and present White Papers and presentations for products What we need from you: Lead projects including developing and submitting proposals and ensuring on-time completion and delivery Connect with product development regarding things you are hearing from customers for potential development Ability to effectively communicate with our customers who are in the electrical products industry Ability to translate what a customer is asking for into a spec and quote Understand engineering principles, terms and meaning Excellent project management skills Excellent listening and communication skills Ability to create CAD drawings is a plus but not required Work with team to accomplish goals To care about what you do, the company and team. Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in Technical Sales, Application Engineering, Product Specialist, Product Marketing, Product Engineering or related
  • Associates or Bachelors’ Degree in Business or Engineering preferred
  • ISO knowledge and experience helpful
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests while maintaining a culture of accountability and execution
  • Ability to travel as needed, will be minimal
  • Strong Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP software skills
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent project management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to create CAD drawings is a plus but not required
