  • Provide enterprise-level expertise across assigned applications and technical areas.
  • Lead the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of critical application systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to customer-reported issues promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
  • Navigate complex, highly integrated systems with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Understand the business and technical requirements of your applications and how they interact with other systems.
  • Engage in all phases of SDLC and project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, design, testing, release deployment, and implementation coordination.
  • Create and maintain thorough technical documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Lead: Ten (10) years of applicable experience in Information Technology Development and/or Support related roles or a combination of technical experience and leadership experience.
  • Senior: Six (6) years of applicable Information Technology application administration and support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience or a combination of technical experience and leadership experience.
  • Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, UNIX or Linux operating systems, application development and support, and database management systems.
  • Expert troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Expert written and oral communication skills.
  • Expert working knowledge of SDLC and project life cycle methods and practices.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures.
  • Expertise in scripting, SQL, deciphering error and event logs, data analysis.
  • Five (5) or more years applicable utility industry experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SPP's core business model.
