United Health Services is seeking a dedicated Applications Analyst II to join our IS Ancillary Application department at UHS Phelps Hall in Binghamton, NY. This position is focused on supporting the Epic Radiant application, which is crucial for the integration and optimization of radiology workflows within our healthcare system. A background in radiology is preferred, as it will provide valuable insight into the clinical and technical aspects of radiology operations, ensuring seamless application support and user satisfaction. In this role, the Applications Analyst II will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, analyzing, and recommending changes in support of assigned applications and systems. This includes ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting. The analyst will support the planning, design, development, build, and configuration of assigned applications and systems. Additionally, the analyst will lead and coordinate conversions, application/system testing, and documentation of system procedures. The position also involves participating in training design and development, as well as assisting in training execution related to assigned projects. The analyst will provide go-live support and serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing maintenance, support, and troubleshooting. An on-call component is included in this role, with call responsibilities from Monday to Monday, covering weekdays from 4:30 pm to 8 am the next day, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday. To be successful in this position, candidates must obtain Epic certification, which requires attending necessary classes offered by Epic, completing projects and exams, and passing to receive certification. This role is essential in ensuring that our radiology applications function optimally and that our users receive the support they need to deliver exceptional patient care.
