As an Applications Analyst I at Mass General Brigham, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Digital initiatives that enhance the efficiency of clinical staff, allowing them to focus more on patient care. This position is integral to the management of digital applications and involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the technological solutions align with the needs of the organization. You will assist in reducing the administrative burden on clinical staff by evaluating business needs and developing recommendations for technical solutions that adhere to the MGB Digital platform standards. Your responsibilities will include researching emerging technologies, evaluating vendor proposals, and presenting potential solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. In this role, you will prepare written materials for presentations and project documentation, advocate for end users, and provide consulting services for integration and problem-solving related to network, server, and application issues. You will participate in departmental and enterprise-wide projects, focusing on new technology integration and the future value of health information technology. Providing exemplary customer service and maintaining ongoing communication with customers and peers is essential. You will also be responsible for installing and troubleshooting non-production software, tracking work in the ticketing system (ServiceNow), creating reports to identify trends, and collaborating with various teams including security, device management, and project managers. Additionally, you will create training materials and knowledge base articles for a wide audience and act as an on-call resource for Digital Applications.
