About The Position

SOSi is currently seeking an Application Systems Analyst V to join our team in Charleston, SC. The Application Systems Analyst will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our customer’s application systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR equivalent experience.
The ability to obtain and retain an active SECRET security clearance is required for this position.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in application system analysis or a related role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and technological advancements.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ERP systems and CRM applications is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Analyst (CISA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable.
An active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing application systems to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation.
Provide ongoing support for application systems, including troubleshooting issues, performing diagnostics, and implementing solutions.
Collaborate with business units to gather and document system requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business needs and objectives.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new systems and applications seamlessly into the existing infrastructure.
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, process flows, and user guides.
Lead and participate in various IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Perform rigorous testing and validation of application systems to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
Provide training to end-users and technical support teams to ensure they are proficient in using the application systems.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring that service level agreements are met.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovative solutions for application systems.
