Analytics group is part of London Stock Exchange Group’s Data & Analytics Technology division. Analytics has established a very strong reputation for providing prudent and reliable analytic solutions to financial industries. With a strong presence in the North America financial markets and a rapidly growing in other markets, the group is now looking to increase its market share globally by building new capabilities as Analytics as Service – A one stop shop solution for all Analytics need through API and Cloud first approach. The Lipper Application Support Team serves support and project roles. Support tasks originate from automated monitoring and user complaint. Project activities originate from application deployment and service improvement projects. Responsible for Windows and Linux servers, in-house and third-party applications, and the network environment in which they reside. Responsible for the automated monitoring systems of servers and applications. The team is accountable for service continuity. Globally distributed Level 2 support team providing broad on-shift coverage hours, rotates duties for 24/7 on-call support availability and weekend change implementation responsibilities.

  • Handle incidents, changes, requests, SMDB, problems, and other ITIL activities
  • Work with L3 to share recurring issues, root causes, flag risks and difficulties
  • Automate system and application monitoring via scripts within monitoring framework
  • Participate in and lead Technical Recovery Calls
  • Windows Server and Linux system administration
  • IP Networking (configuration and fixing): Understanding of firewalls, load balancers, proxy servers, and common network protocols
  • Scripting: Python, PowerShell, bash
  • Storage: Local and NAS, including SMB/CIFS, NFS, and iSCSI
  • Active Directory: Understanding of AD objects, including gMSA
  • Web server administration: IIS, Apache httpd
  • ITIL Framework: Incident, Change, Request, Configuration, and Problem Management
  • Cloud DevOps on AWS and/or Azure
