About The Position
As a Technical Support Engineer within our Upstream Chemical team, you will play a crucial role in delivering service and maintenance to our customers, ensuring they have the necessary products to operate effectively and safely. Our diverse and global team is dedicated to providing technical solutions that enhance production and address the challenges faced by our upstream customers. You will be responsible for evaluating chemical solutions primarily focused on fluid separation, implementing programs, and troubleshooting systems to ensure compliance and safety in operations. In this position, you will take ownership of various projects, ensuring that our customers receive the support they need across the Western Region. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support for our fluid separation product line, diagnosing production system issues, and collaborating with sales and engineering representatives to deliver impactful technical presentations and reports. You will also lead new business field surveys, conduct product qualification analyses, and facilitate new program transitions. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting production issues, providing technical support for facility diagnostics, and determining the root causes of challenges faced by our customers. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and implementing new technologies aimed at improving profitability for both our customers and Baker Hughes.
