The position involves interfacing with mid-level customers, engineers, and managers to enhance complex computer-aided engineering design and manufacturing processes. The candidate will provide technical guidance, support, and training related to Siemens EDA tools, particularly focusing on IC verification flows in complex nanometer technologies. The role requires effective communication of software issues to product development and assisting in the deployment of verification tools at customer sites.

  • Interface with mid-level customers, engineers, and managers to develop or enhance complex design processes.
  • Assist lead customer engineers on large scale design and tooling tasks.
  • Communicate software problems to product development teams.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex design techniques and system procedures.
  • Develop in-depth technical papers and presentations for customer management.
  • Support local Application Engineering teams in deployment campaigns of Calibre Verification tool.
  • Communicate with Calibre customers to assess support needs and training requirements.
  • Strategize deployment of Calibre circuit verification flows with local account teams.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Calibre products across Physical verification product families.
  • Give presentations on products and the industry at conferences and User Group Meetings.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IC Physical verification in complex nanometer technologies (28nm and below).
  • Deep knowledge of Physical Verification flow DRC/LVS/PERC.
  • Experience with sign off and tape-out enablement flows.
  • Collaborated with customers for rule writing and development using SVRF/TVF.
  • Ability to support Calibre DRC/LVS, Calibre PERC, Calibre xRC/xACT, xACT3D.
  • Demonstrates technical expertise in areas of specialization.
  • Experience using Siemens EDA portfolio products.
  • Knowledge of relevant operating systems and hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in consulting roles providing information to internal organizations.
