Application Specialist - Foundation Equipment - Milwaukee, WI Are you passionate about heavy equipment, foundation engineering, and helping customers succeed on the job site? We are seeking an Application Specialist to serve as the primary product champion and trusted liaison between our customers and the top-tier foundation equipment we represent, including industry-leading Liebherr Foundation Equipment (FE). As our Application Specialist , you will shape how customers apply modern foundation technologies in the field. Your expertise will directly influence project success, customer satisfaction, and the continued growth of our product lines. This is a high-impact role for someone who loves combining technical knowledge, hands-on equipment experience, and customer-facing interaction.

Requirements

• Technical, vocational, or trade school education is preferred .
• 2 - 4 years of experience in heavy equipment or related industries.
• Ability to: Think strategically Advise and influence customers Navigate conflict and negotiate effectively Present information clearly Build strong professional relationships
• Strong commitment to safety in all aspects of the job.
• Solid time‑management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and OEM technical software.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% .

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating Liebherr FE is strongly preferred .

Responsibilities

• Serve as the expert bridge between sales teams, customers, and equipment manufacturers.
• Visit jobsites and guide customers on applications, methods, and equipment selection.
• Develop and deliver training on a wide range of foundation techniques, including: Pile walls (drilled, vibratory, impact driven) CFA, displacement, and mini piling Diaphragm walls Kelly drilling Dynamic compaction Ground improvement (e.g., stone columns)
• Advise customers on: Proper equipment operation Job layouts and best practices Production rates and ground‑condition considerations
• Provide detailed technical support to the sales team.
• Track competitor products, pricing, specs, and market trends.
• Recommend equipment improvements for US market applications.
• Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot heavy equipment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and support complex repairs.
• Other duties as needed, our success is a team effort.
