MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Application Programmer to join our team in California, MD. This is an on-site position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Applied experience programming in Linux and Windows environments
  • Knowledgeable in C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar business intelligence tools
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Experience working with binary data

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify, and maintain software applications in accordance with project requirements
  • Analyze technology/capability gaps, then research, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions to improve the final solution and expedite solution deployment
  • Work closely with other developers to design and optimize the solution for performance, adaptability, and maintainability
  • Conduct thorough unit, integration, and cybersecurity testing and remediate identified bugs throughout development cycles
  • Assist in the creation of clear and concise technical documentation, user guides and training material for the developed solution
  • Design and develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar analytics software (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense) to provide actionable insights from complex datasets
