In this role, you will be responsible for developing methods and software for novel predictive models, particularly focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) applications. You will coordinate the building of bioinformatics infrastructure to facilitate easy and meaningful scientific analysis and interpretation of data. Collaboration with scientists will be key, as you will design, analyze, manage, and interpret various types of data. Your work will involve the development and maintenance of bioinformatics tools, scripts, and pipelines for data processing. You will create programs and algorithms, as well as develop computational infrastructure resources to organize and parse data from large and complex datasets. Providing interpretive analyses of data derived from different platforms to generate insights will be a significant part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct program-related and scientific information searches and report the results. Your role will also include developing and optimizing programs and scripts that facilitate the organization, integration, and data mining of large datasets, integrating these models into a framework of best practices. You will be expected to identify new tools and resources that can help in reaching biologically meaningful conclusions and work with an interdisciplinary team to apply computational data analysis approaches.
