About The Position

Infosys is seeking for an Application Production Support Engineer for L2/L3 support team where you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across various aspects of application support for our client using various Monitoring tools to perform fault analysis, failure avoidance and diagnosis and resolution for any impacting issues in a distributed environment. You will be working closely with development and engineering team to provide input on new functionality and system performance, capacity management, monitoring and testing of infra upgrades and platform releases. Requirements

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC, or willing to relocate.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Hands-on experience in Production support activities for critical business applications.
  • Hands-on experience in AWS services like Step functions, AWS Lambda, Rest APIs, Kafka.
  • Perform in-depth log analysis to identify and diagnose issues in production systems.
  • L2 support and troubleshooting issues in C++/Java based production application codes (via Visual Studio).
  • Experience in debugging issues in SQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle database systems.
  • Troubleshoot job failures in Control-M.
  • Utilize monitoring tools like Grafana, DataDog, Splunk, AppDynamics, CloudWatch.
