Infosys is seeking to hire an Application Production Support Engineer for Production support experience with added knowledge on Java, Python, Pyspark and PL/SQL. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience of AWS services (Step functions, AWS Lambda, S3, IAM, EC2, Rest APIs, Kafka and other AWS cloud services).
  • Knowledge of Python and Pyspark.
  • Hands-on experience on any one of RDMS SQL technologies: SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
  • Knowledge of any ETL tools (Informatica, AWS Glue, Talend etc).
  • Knowledge on job scheduling platform like Control M / Autosys.
  • CI/CD experience (GitHub and Jenkins) will be an added benefit.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.
  • Analytical and Communication skills.
  • Planning and Co-ordination skills.
  • Knowledge on any language: Java, Spring boot, C++, C.
  • Working experience on ITIL processes.
