We are looking for you as an Application & Integration Architect. In this role, you will be a part of Digital Operations, which is a function within Global Engineering to support the production of diagnostic units for our patients. Our global team provides the integration between manufacturing and the enterprise with systems including MES, SAP, lab systems, and cybersecurity; from development to support to lifecycle management. The Opportunity In collaboration with IT and business partners, monitor and improve stakeholder and user experience to maximize utilization of Manufacturing applications and systems. Analyse and interpret data to provide recommendations for process improvements. Capable of gathering user requirements process steps and translating them to system requirements. You will assist in delivering internally and externally built systems. Provides technical support for Manufacturing applications to end users and key business users. (On-call-support, including regular intervals outside of regular working hours). Work independently to learn and investigate solutions; while also capable of collaborating and learning from other team members. Work in local and global projects in the area of Manufacturing applications. Exchange technical information with employees at other locations and form a network. Travel for this position is expected to be approximately 20%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Define overall MES (Camstar/Opcenter preferred) architecture and roadmap
  • Translate user (IT, Eng, Mfg, Quality) needs into functional and technical specs.
  • Design interfaces with ERP (i.e. SAP), Quality systems and shop-floor systems
  • Lead project teams, mentor staff, and manage technical delivery
  • Define data models, flows, and integration standards
  • Ensure solutions meet GMP, FDA, and data integrity requirements.
  • Oversee system deployment, upgrades, patches, and production support.
  • Deep Camstar/Opcenter expertise, C#, Java, SQL, integration patterns, scripting.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality, and master data
  • Project leadership, team motivation, vendor management, excellent communication.
