Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an enthusiastic student eager to support SEL Application Engineers and customers on SEL industrial computers. If you are located in or around Pullman, WA and are excited about hands-on exposure and interactions this might be the position for you. As an Application Engineering Intern, a typical day might include: Providing support for communication/automation/protection test beds. Performing tests on existing and new technology. Documenting test bed activities and results. Supporting Sales and Customer Service and product development activities related to communication/automation/protection. Supporting application engineers to develop best practice application guides for SEL technology that provide secure and compliant solutions. This job might be for you if: You are a current student pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent disciplines. You are a self-starter and eager to learn. You are familiar with Windows and Windows Server system administration (Linux administration is a bonus) You have familiarity with networking (IP, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, multicasting, etc.). You enjoy fixing or repairing computers as a hobby. You have knowledge and/or hands-on experience with computer automation Location: Pullman, WA All SEL internships are 100% onsite. This position is based in Pullman, WA . Pay Range Data ($19.50 - $29.50 per hour) - Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate).
