About The Position

The Application Engineer will provide technical support for CFM Engineering Sales and Contractor Sales as well as providing technical support for CFM Customers. The Application Engineer will be trained to support both HVAC System and HVAC Equipment questions. The Application Engineer must have strong engineering, communications and time management skills to successfully support, communicate and manage multiple product and system questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Relevant work experience in HVAC Equipment Manufacturer, HVAC Equipment Representative or Wholesale Representative, Mechanical Consulting Engineer, Project Manager or Team Leader in HVAC Service, Estimating & Quotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal support for engineer sales staff.
• Assist Sales Engineers and interact with Consulting Engineers who are CFM Company’s engineering customers.
• Support the engineering sales process with product and system questions, equipment selections, specification updates, system layouts, and general assistance.
• Manage workload to ensure prompt and accurate response and proper technical support.
• Support contractor sales staff in selection, application and pricing of engineered products and special design requests.
• Assist contractor sales with generating and reviewing submittals for engineered products.
• Assist with the Consulting Engineers review of submittals when necessary.
• Provide technical support on application matters that may require assistance.
• Actively support the proper application of technologies in any phase of a project including preconstruction, design, purchase and installation, and post-installation.
