About The Position

This position is intended to focus primarily on projects featuring technical specifications, bid phases, and post-order documentation.

Requirements

• Oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic mechanical design and fluid-flow engineering knowledge.
• A keen interest in sales.
• Ability to multitask with short and long timelines.
• Strong presentation skills are a plus.
• Technical background to understand principles of mechanical rotating equipment and fluid flow.
• In-depth understanding of company product offerings and applicability in a wide variety of markets.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and provide customer satisfaction.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering is strongly preferred; however, 10+ years of related experience will be considered.
• Understanding of technical writing and project life cycles.
• Must be able to work on-site five days a week.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate technical and commercial support for sales channel partners and end-user clients.
• Review quote requests from representatives and customers based on the information provided.
• Provide custom solutions for engineered equipment and establish pricing for non-standard items when necessary.
• Review incoming orders and provide technical review, as required, to scope orders for engineering and production.
• Work with all other departments to improve the overall understanding of the business and achieve company goals.
• Assist with marketing projects necessary to maintain a competitive product offering.
• Present technical trainings and presentations to representatives and customers.
• Attend customer meetings as appropriate with the representative and the Regional Sales Manager to provide technical support.
• Provide technical support to the international divisions, as necessary.
• Domestic travel may be required.
