We are seeking an Application Engineer for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. This role will provide development and support of Enterprise applications and initiatives within the Clinical Quality Measurement and Reporting group. The applicant will be expected to learn and maintain existing applications as well as work within a project team environment for any new development. This work includes requirements gathering, estimating, documenting, developing and testing application solutions.

Requirements

• Mid-Level SQL and stored procedure experience required
• Mid-Level Object Oriented Programming experience in C# required
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced multi-tasking team environment
• Familiarity with GitHub is a plus
• Strong professional work ethic

Nice To Haves

• PowerBI experience is a plus
• UIPath Studio Automation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSRS reports in SQL Server 2019
• Write and maintain C# and ASP.NET MVC applications
• Accomplish simple programming tasks with minimal assistance
• Write code to HCA standards
• Thoroughly unit test your own development
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in existing code
• Build strong professional relationships and communicate with other developers and business analysts
• Look for ways to improve existing applications and processes
• Actively participate in meetings
