About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Engineer to support our water treatment and fluid handling product lines, including chemical metering pumps, controllers, analyzers, and related equipment. This role will provide technical expertise, application support, and customer-facing solutions to ensure proper selection, integration, and operation of pumps and controls in municipal and industrial water treatment environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical support, or system integration in the water/wastewater or process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical metering pumps, sensors, and fluid handling equipment.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation in water treatment controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical solutions to both engineers and operators.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, trade shows, and training events as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LMI Milton Roy, Walchem, Blue-White, or similar brands.
  • Knowledge of water treatment chemistry and dosing applications (chlorine, caustic, acids, polymers, etc.).
  • Hands-on field service experience in pump and control system startup and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and application expertise for chemical metering pumps, controllers, analyzers, and fluid handling systems.
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, and customers to size, select, and specify appropriate equipment for water/wastewater treatment processes.
  • Prepare submittals, technical proposals, and system documentation to support projects and sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Train customers, operators, and internal staff on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
  • Provide feedback to engineering and product teams for continuous improvement of equipment and services.
