About The Position

ITC is a Woman Owned Small Business delivering exceptional consultation to the U.S. Government in Systems/Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Solutions, Mission Operations/INTEL Analysis, and Management Services in order to enable our customers to solve the most challenging problems. With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a Top-Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Senior-Level Application Engineer. Responsibilities: Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule. Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques. Formulates and defines specifications for software applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel. Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products. Monitors health and status of security tool suites to maintain full operational capacity, conducts database administration to monitor, report, repair, and analyze any degradation, vulnerabilities, or deficiencies of the health and status of the systems and tools, performs gap analysis and researches and evaluates commercial products capable of eliminating vulnerabilities or deficiencies. Collaborates/coordinates with ancillary organizations to procure, deliver, dispose, and track new HW/SW required for solution. Defines, coordinates, and schedules testing, integration, implementation, and deployment activities with dependent external interface devices/owners. Deploys security solutions across the IT Enterprise Network. Installs hardware and implements required software to ensure fully functional computer environment. Conducts security tool instruction/training.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with FS Polygraph required to start
  • Ten (10) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Eight (8) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree.
  • Six (6) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Four (4) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree.
  • Two (2) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.
  • Mid-level Windows and Linux server system administration experience and knowledge.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with each of these two operating systems.
  • VMware architecture administration experience.
  • Recent experience with configuring switches, firewalls & routers.
  • Network experience (architecture, switch administration, troubleshooting).
  • Knowledge of physical and virtual servers.
  • Application administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Security+ certification.
