About The Position

The position involves contributing technical expertise and working within a focused team that designs, fabricates, integrates, and tests RF and millimeter wave subsystems. The role requires close collaboration with scientists and engineers to support the development of state-of-the-art RF subsystems for communication, radar, and sensing applications. Additional job functions include solving customer problems, writing invention disclosures, publishing papers, briefing customers, participating in proposal activities, and assisting in marketing HRL expertise.

Requirements

• Some experience with modeling and simulating electronic components, RF electronics, and circuits.
• Experience with different families of FPGAs, DSPs, or microcontrollers.
• Working familiarity with Python, C, and MATLAB; Simulink is a plus.
• Understanding of basic circuit theory, electromagnetics, and digital signal processing.
• Familiarity with RF and high-speed digital test equipment.
• Working knowledge of RF components for communication and radar systems is a plus.
• Ability to interact professionally with program managers, co-workers, and customers.
• Ability to operate complex electronic equipment.
• Perform detailed analyses of integrated circuits and prepare written and oral presentations.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Proficiency in the use of computers, engineering workstations, and complex electronic equipment.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $120,715 - $150,895 + bonus + benefits.
• Salary determined by role, level, and location.
