About The Position

A well-established Building Automation Systems (BAS) integrator is seeking a skilled Application Engineer/Programmer to support their expanding operations. This position offers strong pay,excellent benefits, and the chance to work on high-visibility BAS and integration projects throughoutthe Baltimore and Washington, DC metropolitan region.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Controls Technician, Application Engineer, Programmer, or related BAS role.
Hands-on experience with BAS platforms such as JCI Facility Explorer, Tridium Niagara, Metasys, Honeywell, or Trane Tracer.
Strong skills in programming, system integration, and troubleshooting automation applications.
Working knowledge of commissioning procedures, point-to-point checkouts, and system validation.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement Building Automation System (BAS) architecture and control strategies.
Program, update, and refine applications using Tridium front ends and graphical user interfaces.
Develop comprehensive Sequences of Operations (SOPs) for assigned projects.
Troubleshoot, test, and commission BAS systems to ensure accurate functionality and performance.
Lead automation data development efforts and prepare detailed submittals and documentation.
Perform site visits, job walks, and field validations to gather project requirements.
Collaborate closely with controls technicians, contractors, and project management teams.
Communicate effectively with building owners, end users, engineers, and general contractors.
