About The Position

Team Search Party is redefining how investors find, understand, and act on information across Vanguard’s digital ecosystem. We build AI‑driven, omnichannel search experiences that power discovery across web, mobile, secure site, and emerging conversational interfaces, turning questions into confident next steps through relevance, wayfinding, and intelligent guidance.

Requirements

• TS02 ownership & delivery
• Owns outcomes and independently delivers high‑complexity, end‑to-end solutions

• Cloud & backend (priority)
• Strong AWS experience (with preference for ECS and Lambda)
• Python proficiency and experience building/supporting REST APIs
• Experience with service integrations and shared platform components
• Frontend / UI engineering
• Strong UI fundamentals: JavaScript (React preferred)
• Experience building maintainable UI patterns and collaborating across frontend + backend boundaries
• Operational excellence
• Production ownership mindset: observability, reliability, incident response participation, and operational hygiene
• Comfort working in environments with monitoring/alerting and on-call readiness as needed

Nice To Haves

• AEM / Adobe digital experience stack
• AEM experience; familiarity with broader Adobe ecosystem (e.g., Target, Web SDK, AEP)
• Search and discoverability domain
• Experience with search UI patterns, discoverability, and shared components that support large-scale experiences
• Accessibility
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and tooling (e.g., WCAG, NVDA, VoiceOver, Axe)
• Platform modernization
• Experience improving resiliency, performance, and scaling practices for client-facing platforms
