About The Position

Create and modify designs to meet the requirements for new or existing customers relating to fitment, function, and application of current products. Essential Functions: Design and develop new products and make improvements to existing products Integrate existing designs into customer specific applications Assist in troubleshooting product and/or process related issues as needed Support new product development projects utilizing APQP requirements Participate in generation of engineering requirements, FMEA, and DVP&R documents Meet with customers, vendors, shop personnel, and office staff to complete designs Research, process, and perform engineering change requests Create and modify CAD engineering models and drawings using SolidWorks Utilize MRP software QAD and PLM software Teamcenter Finish projects in a timely manner Perform all other duties as assigned Education and Training Mechanical Engineering BSME required Minimum Qualifications Two to three year’s manufacturing experience • Two to five years’ experience with engineering drawings • Solid works and AutoCAD experience preferred • Experience using MRP system preferred • Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point • Ability to develop drawings to standards (e.g. ASME Y14.5-2009) • Ability to work independently • Proven ability to generate new ideas • Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem. • Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others • Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely. • Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task. • Energetic - Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work. • Goal Oriented - Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result. • Interpersonal - Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals. • Team Builder - Ability to convince a group of people to work toward a goal. • Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. • Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations Physical Demands Physical Requirements (standing, lifting, repetitive tasks) Environmental Conditions Exposure to extreme heat and extreme cold while in the plant. Requirements

Mechanical Engineering BSME required
Two to three year’s manufacturing experience
Two to five years’ experience with engineering drawings
Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point
Ability to develop drawings to standards (e.g. ASME Y14.5-2009)
Ability to work independently
Proven ability to generate new ideas
