This position is ultimately responsible for the successful execution of all applications engineering for units as well as estimating engineered packages. Effectively working to ensure that all new applications, quotations, and unit orders under this category adhere to company ISO 9001 requirements.

  • Handle unit and simple package orders for select product lines
  • Updating Principle discount sheets
  • Quoting, Order Entry Process, etc.
  • Review customer technical information – read specs, PO tech requirements etc.
  • Continue to learn the specifics of air and gas equipment and the applicability of each
  • Learn specific system requirements / considerations for designs handling compressible gases
  • Develop project costing for System Packages
  • Spec out equipment (motors, instrumentation, valves, pipe sch, etc.) not specified by customer
  • Fill out purchase orders for procurement
  • Lead/conduct/support negotiations with suppliers to obtain desired results
  • Obtain submittal information from vendors so PE can develop MEECO submittal packages
  • Expedite vendors when required
  • Organizational skills and time management
  • Effective communications skills both written and verbal for interface with Clients and co-workers
  • Ability to multitask, use initiative, and sometimes work under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • Motivation to contribute to and develop with the company as growth / diversification continues
  • Ability to work in a team environment (Field Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Accounting)
  • Effective computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite and other Company and discipline specific software applications
  • BS Engineering degree with an emphasis in electrical/instrumentation
