eX² Technology is seeking an Application Engineer / Construction Supervisor is a hybrid technical and field leadership role responsible for bridging engineering design, application development, and construction execution. This position ensures that engineered solutions are properly designed, deployed, and constructed in accordance with project specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The role serves as the technical authority for system applications while providing on-site supervision and coordination of construction activities. Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in engineering, systems integration, telecommunications construction supervision, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and field execution
  • Experience with technical systems, applications, or infrastructure deployments
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel and work on active construction sites
  • Ability to interpret and develop technical drawings, equipment layouts, and system diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, high-availability network infrastructures
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers
  • Conduct root cause analysis for network performance or security issues
  • Document network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
  • Familiarity with optical power budgets, attenuation, dispersion, and wavelength allocation

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and support technical systems and applications used in telecommunications construction, infrastructure, or industrial environments
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for system architecture, integration, and performance
  • Translate customer and project requirements into engineering solutions and construction-ready designs
  • Develop drawings, specifications, documentation, and installation standards
  • Support project engineering, commissioning, testing, and system acceptance
  • Provide technical guidance to construction teams, subcontractors, and field technicians
  • Interface with clients, vendors, and design teams to ensure solution alignment
