Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule. Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques. Formulates and defines specifications for software applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel. Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products. As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project. Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph). This position will provide application engineering support to evaluate the utility and effectiveness of large language models in the ATO process. Successful candidates will have significant expertise with development operations, including containerization and container orchestration; and/or significant expertise in integrating large language models within existing business processes. While deep experience in one discipline is sufficient to begin, the candidate must ultimately demonstrate the technical ability and willingness to master the complementary field.
Requirements
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph
- All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees will be from accredited institutions.
- Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED.
- Ten (10) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree.
- Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
- Six (6) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree.
- Four (4) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.

- ECS within the AWS ecosystem
- GenAI experience
- Risk Management Framework
