About The Position

Fiserv is a global leader in Fintech and payments, connecting financial institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers. The Application Development Intern works with skilled professionals to develop, test, and support innovative application solutions. This role offers a comprehensive learning experience, exposing the intern to real-world scenarios in coding and software development to help them grow into a seasoned technology professional.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2028 in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Technical Project Management, or other Technology Degrees
• 3.0+ GPA
• Applicants must have unrestricted work authorization and should not require future sponsorship
• 0-2 years of professional work experience
• Knowledge of AI tools and platforms (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent) and ability to apply them responsibly to support software development tasks

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of .NET. Java, Spring boot, MySQL
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coding and testing application software.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and experienced teammates on software development projects.
• Participate in coding reviews and quality inspections.
• Support in the ongoing documentation of existing processes.
• Offer innovative solutions and ideas during development discussions.
